Turn Exam Stress into College Credit
Expert, Exam-Aligned Strategies to Help Your Teen Move from Anxious to
Confident—and Secure a 4 or 5.
Welcome! I'm so glad you're here.
If your teenager is preparing for high-stakes history or civics exams, you already know how overwhelming the sheer volume of content can be. You want to give them every advantage, but balancing packed school schedules with expensive, rigid 1-on-1 tutoring sessions is a logistical nightmare.
That’s exactly why I created this membership.
With over 30 years of experience teaching secondary social studies and grading exams, I designed a smarter structure. Once a week, your student joins me live for high-impact practice, breaking down exact test questions and mastering the specific strategies required to score high.
No more trading hours for progress. No more guessing games. Just a clear, structured path to the scores they need for the colleges they want.
Watch the quick video above to see exactly how we build exam confidence, week by week.
The AP History Hurdle: Content Overload vs. Real Strategy
AP World, AP U.S. History, and AP European History require students to memorize centuries of content.
But memorization isn't enough to pass the exam or score a 5.
To succeed, students must master complex analytical skills, document-based questioning (DBQs), and rapid essay writing.
As a veteran educator with over three decades of classroom experience, I don't just teach the facts—I teach the exact blueprints national graders look for.

Wendy was phenomenal... My son was taking his first AP class (AP Euro) and Wendy helped him hone his analytical and writing skills... There is no substitute for the expertise of someone like Wendy (and always better to hear it from someone other than Mom)!

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Contact me if your question isn't answered here!
Absolutely. AP World History and AP European History are frequently a student's very first exposure to college-level expectations. We intentionally break down the foundational writing and analytical skills (like how to construct a thesis or handle source documents) right from week one so they don't fall behind in class.
We run three distinct, dedicated cohorts: AP World History, AP U.S. History (APUSH), and AP European History. Your student will be grouped exclusively with peers taking their exact exam.
High school teachers are under immense pressure just to rush through centuries of content. We focus heavily on exam execution—the strategy, essay-writing frameworks, and multiple-choice hacks that regular classrooms rarely have the time to drill down on.
No problem at all. Every single weekly live session is recorded and uploaded to their private student dashboard within 24 hours. Students in Tier 2 and Tier 3 retain full access to the on-demand library to watch replays anytime.
Yes. If your child starts on the on-demand plan (Tier 1) and realizes they need the live weekly accountability of the cohort (Tier 2), or the high-touch support of 1-on-1 tutoring (Tier 3), you can upgrade your plan inside your account portal at any time, subject to seat availability.
Tier 3 offers elite, individualized accountability. In addition to the library and the live weekly cohort, your student gets a dedicated weekly private session with me to diagnose their specific writing gaps, grade their practice essays live, and target their personal weak spots. This will be dedicated day/time each week, determined at the onset.
Note: Tier 3 spots are strictly limited due to calendar constraints.
No. We offer flexible, transparent payment options (monthly or quarterly) so you can choose what works best for your family's budget. You are in control and can cancel or adjust your membership seamlessly.
A college student might remember what they did to pass, but they lack the pedagogical training to teach it. With over 30 years of classroom teaching experience and a deep understanding of national grading rubrics, I don't guess what's on the exam—I know exactly what examiners are looking for and how to help your child deliver it.
